Lead IQA - Functional Skills
Are you an experienced IQA looking to lead quality assurance across a nationally significant contract, supporting learners in the Armed Forces?
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Lead IQA – Infantry & Functional Skills to ensure high standards, robust quality processes, and continuous improvement across our functional skills and apprenticeship provision.
Working closely with the Progress Manager and Director of Quality & Compliance, you’ll lead on sampling, standardisation, lesson observation cycles, and preparation for external verification—ensuring our programmes meet the highest expectations of Awarding Organisations, Ofsted, ESFA, and IfATE.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating and delivering internal quality assurance processes across functional skills and infantry apprenticeships
- Leading EV preparation and reporting, and maintaining accurate sampling records
- Supporting the development of teaching and learning through lesson observations and CPD activity
- Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement across your area of responsibility
- Maintaining accurate reporting and contributing to quality reviews, SAR, and QIP processesWhat you’ll bring:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an internal quality assurance role in education or work-based learning
- IQA qualification (e.g. V1/D34) and a L4 Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent)
- Experience in delivering and assessing Functional Skills
- High levels of organisation, attention to detail, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude

Engineering Apprenticeship Tutor
Are you passionate about developing future engineering talent? Do you have the experience and confidence to coach and assess learners on their journey to becoming qualified Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technicians?
The Colleges’ Partnership is recruiting a motivated and knowledgeable Engineering Apprenticeship Tutor to deliver the Level 3 MOET programme (and others as appropriate), supporting military learners to achieve success through high-quality delivery, regular progress reviews, and a strong focus on learner engagement.
You’ll work both independently and collaboratively—delivering blended learning, assessing apprentices, and guiding them towards End Point Assessment with the support of their employer.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering the MOET apprenticeship programme through 1:1 and group-based sessions
- Conducting assessments, marking learner work, and providing meaningful feedback
- Supporting learners with Functional Skills in maths and English (up to Level 2)
- Carrying out tripartite reviews and maintaining accurate records on e-portfolio systems
- Identifying barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet individual needs
- Supporting and motivating learners to stay on track and complete their programme
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet quality assurance and compliance standardsWhat you’ll bring:

Assessor - Aviation & Digital Apprenticeships
We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated mentor to support Army Air Corps soldiers through their Apprenticeship. In this role, you’ll work alongside both military and civilian personnel.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing learners' work, providing constructive feedback, and guiding them through their apprenticeship. As a mentor and coach, you’ll play a key role in their development, offering practical support and direction.
Working with your line manager, you’ll help maintain an organised and supportive learning environment. Together, you’ll address any issues as they arise and ensure a positive experience for our learners.
Salary: £17,506 - £19,011 (once/if qualified)
