Our Courses

More education, more results

The more knowledgeable the employee, the better they perform and the more fruitful the results for your business - that’s our ethos when it comes to education. It’s also why apprenticeships and workplace learning is so important. You’ll be able to mould the apprentice into your way of working, ground them in your company values, and teach them every nook and cranny of the business.

Employers

Empower your people

If you’re looking to upskill existing employees, then you’re set to see a big return from your efforts in that arena, too. Nothing boosts productivity and morale like an employee who feels valued, and with top-tier training that’s helping them further their career, employees will not only be more effective at work, but they’ll feel good about you as an employer too. A positive domino-effect.

FAQs:

  • The Apprenticeship Levy is a UK government initiative introduced in April 2017. Employers with an annual pay bill exceeding £3 million are required to pay 0.5% of their total pay bill towards the levy. This amount is collected monthly through the PAYE system. Employers receive an annual £15,000 allowance to offset against the levy, effectively reducing the amount payable. The funds are deposited into a digital account, where they can be used to pay for apprenticeship training and assessment costs. Unused funds expire after 24 months and are reclaimed by HMRC.

  • The duration of an apprenticeship varies depending on the level, sector, and the apprentice's prior knowledge. Generally:

    • Level 2 (Intermediate): Typically 12 to 18 months.

    • Level 3 (Advanced): Usually 18 to 24 months.

    • Level 4 and above (Higher and Degree): Can range from 2 to 5 years, depending on the specific programme and progression route.

The Colleges’ Partnership offers a range of apprenticeships across various sectors, including digital and technical, education, and business leadership. The duration of these programmes aligns with industry standards and the specific requirements of each apprenticeship.

  • The Colleges’ Partnership provides comprehensive support to employers, including:
